Metallurgy Insulation Layer

Bluewind TRI series aluminum silicate plate, can resist max 1,200 Celsius degree firing, and the thermal conductivity below 0.3 E/m.K. Which in steel melting industry, it has been applied in the liquid ladle insulation layer, for the high temperature resistant and thermal insulation performance.
 
Thickness: Commonly applying 10/15/18/32 mm plate as the insulation claddings.
Performance: Can keep the outside temperature as designed.
Service Life: Expected to serve for 10 months or longer ( the refractory layer requires refurbished regularly)

Electrolytic Aluminum Melting industry

In electrolytic aluminum melting industry, Bluewind refractory and insulation vermiculite products mainly works in following two parts: anti-leakage bricks and insulation layer vermiculite bricks.
 
Anti-leakage bricks: It requires to stand the high temperature and prevent the aluminum melting liquid leakage. And if the insulation capacity of the anti-leakage layer better, it can reduce the heat consumption and energy costs.
Bluewind high density vermiculite brick, max resist 1,200 C heating and firing, with stable working and insulation performance, in the layer of anti-leakage, forms a ceramic like layer under continuous high temperature heating, which can prevent the aluminum melting liquid leakage. While the thermal conductivity is below 0.3 W/m.K, which great lower than most refractory bricks, which make it helping the energy saving and production improving.
Insulation layer vermiculite bricks: In the insulation layer, vermiculite bricks work like a transition layer which prevent the heat spreading fast outside the melting cells. It can resist the high temperature and has a good insulation performance, can take part roles of the clay brick and Calsium Silicate boards, and works in the middle layer of the clay brick and Calsium Silicate bricks.
